compliant in order to interface with the new digital
trunking systems in use by the Michigan State Police and
soon the Wayne County Sheriff Dept. The proposed

The system uses the newer 9600 baud control channel although there have been rumors that consideration of converting to the older 3600 baud signaling to accommodate cheaper analog radios is being made.
